Get ready to cast your lines and compete in the Second Annual Formanek Electric Walleye Fishing Tournament, benefiting South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures! This event brings anglers together for a day of competition, prizes, and camaraderie—all while supporting a great cause.
Teams will battle it out on the water for top prizes, including trophies, a custom belt buckle for the biggest walleye, and exciting door prizes. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting tournament!
Tournament Details:
Date: May 30, 2026
Location: Cow Creek Boat Dock (Start)
The Outpost Lodge Hoop Building (Weigh-In)
Entry Fee: $400 per boat (4-man team max)
Registration Deadline: May 15, 2025
Lunch Available
Rules & Format
Teams: Maximum of 4 anglers per boat
Catch Limit: 7 fish weigh-in (2 over 20 inches allowed)
Mandatory Rules Meeting: May 29 at 7:00 PM at The Outpost Lodge Hoop Building (at least one team member must attend)
Calcutta follows the rules meeting (Food & drinks available)

The $400 Team Registration Cost can be paid via check or via venmo. Checks must be made out to Formanek Electric Fishing Tournament and mailed to 3310 Ping Drive, Rapid City, SD 57703. To pay via Venmo, pay Nick Formanek at @NrFormanek.
All registrants must sign the liability waiver. This can be printed and mailed with payment or signed via the day of the tournament.
